Feature
What it does
RUKN Prayer Times helps Muslims follow Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha with current prayer windows, next prayer countdowns, Qibla direction, reminders, and privacy-first daily worship features.
RUKN is built as a Muslim prayer times app for following salah through the day, not as a city timetable directory or social feed.
The prayer times screen shows where you are in the salah day, what prayer comes next, and how much time remains, without adding ads, a social feed, or an account requirement.
Use it for quick checks before salah, slower review of the day ahead, and planning around worship at home, work, study, or while travelling.
Source
Where prayer times come from
RUKN uses the Aladhan Prayer Times API to support prayer time calculation inside the app. The times shown depend on location, timezone, selected calculation method, madhhab settings, and local convention.
Because prayer time practice can vary by region, mosque, and community, RUKN is designed as a practical daily companion rather than a replacement for trusted local guidance. If a time looks different from a mosque timetable, users should check their selected settings and compare with local guidance.
Daily use
Why it matters
Salah shapes the day. A clear prayer times view helps you check the current prayer, prepare for the next one, set reminders, and plan around worship without friction.
RUKN keeps the experience calm and privacy-first, so checking prayer times does not become another feed, alert stream, or advertising surface.
Widget
Next prayer at a glance
RUKN's solat time widget gives a quick view of the next prayer, countdown, and daily prayer times before you open the app.
It works alongside the main prayer times screen, using the user's selected location and calculation settings.
Prayer Times
Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha, clearly placed in your day
RUKN keeps the five daily prayers easy to follow, from Fajr through Isha.
See the current prayer window, know what comes next, and keep the rhythm of salah close throughout the day, whether you are at home, at work, studying, or travelling.
Current prayer
Know where you are in the salah day.
Prayer times are not only a list of hours. Each prayer belongs to a part of the day.
RUKN shows the current prayer window so you can understand which prayer is active and how the rest of the day is unfolding.
Next prayer
See what is coming next.
The next prayer countdown helps you prepare without constantly checking the clock.
It gives you the next salah, remaining time, and flow from one prayer to another, simple enough for a quick glance and useful enough for daily planning.
Location and Method
Why prayer times can differ between apps
Prayer times can differ between apps because calculation methods, Asr settings, high-latitude rules, rounding, location accuracy, timezone handling, and local mosque adjustments may not be the same.
RUKN gives users control over key settings that affect prayer time calculation, including location, timezone, calculation method, Asr juristic setting, high-latitude adjustment, and manual offsets where needed.
When local mosque guidance differs, users should review their settings and follow trusted local guidance.
Connected Worship
Prayer times, Qibla direction, Quran, duas, Hadith, and planning in one place
Checking prayer times often leads into preparation: finding the Qibla, opening Quran, reading a dua, reviewing Hadith, or shaping the day around salah.
RUKN keeps these worship features together in one focused Islamic app, so preparing for prayer does not mean moving through feeds, ads, or distractions.
Trust
Privacy-first by design
RUKN uses location only where prayer times and Qibla need it.
Location is used to calculate relevant prayer times when enabled, while privacy controls remain with the user through the app and device settings.
No ads, no tracking layer, no social feed, and no engagement mechanics competing with worship.
