RUKN Terms of Use.

These Terms of Use describe the conditions for using RUKN’s website and the RUKN-specific features and content described below. “RUKN”, “we” and “our” refer to the provider of RUKN identified in the applicable app-store listing.

These terms supplement, and do not replace, the applicable app-store terms or app licence. Apple’s standard End User License Agreement continues to apply to the App Store version. Google Play’s terms apply to distribution and purchases through Google Play. These are separate agreements with different scopes; nothing here overrides mandatory store requirements or your rights under applicable law.

Android is coming soon. References to Google Play describe the terms that will apply when that version is available; they do not indicate that it is currently on sale.

RUKN provides tools and reference material for prayer, reading, remembrance and planning. It does not issue fatwas, determine the validity of worship, or replace qualified scholars, teachers, mosques or religious instruction.

For questions about belief, fiqh, interpretation, recitation, tajweed or Hadith grading, seek guidance from qualified teachers and trusted religious sources. Translations and commentary are interpretations; the inclusion of a source is not an endorsement of every view expressed in it.

Prayer times depend on location, timezone, calculation method and other settings. Hijri dates may differ from local moon-sighting decisions. Compare the app with trusted local guidance when a difference matters.

Qibla readings depend on device sensors and location accuracy; nearby metal and magnetic accessories can affect the compass. Map listings and directions are provided by external sources and may be incomplete or outdated.

We aim to present content accurately, but texts, translations, references, audio timings and other information can contain errors or omissions. A missing Hadith grade does not establish authenticity. Please report suspected errors with the relevant passage, reference or screen through Support.

Once RUKN is financially sustainable, our intention is to consider allocating up to 50% of net proceeds towards charities, mosques and community causes. For this intention, net proceeds means revenue remaining after platform fees, taxes, refunds, payment costs and direct operating costs.

This is a future aspiration, not a commitment to contribute a fixed amount or percentage. Contributions are discretionary and depend on RUKN’s financial position and operating needs. No minimum amount, schedule or recipient is guaranteed, and there may be periods when no contributions are made.

RUKN does not solicit donations from users. Any future giving would come from RUKN’s own funds. Purchasing the app or a subscription is payment for access, not a charitable donation, and does not entitle the purchaser to a charitable donation receipt.

Purchases and subscriptions are processed through the applicable app store. The price, billing period, renewal conditions and any trial terms shown at purchase apply. Manage or cancel a subscription through the store used to purchase it. Deleting the app does not itself cancel a subscription.

For a refund request, start with the refund process of the store that processed your purchase. Apple handles requests through its refund service. Google Play may direct you to the developer for assistance; contact RUKN Support if it does. Eligibility depends on the applicable store policy and consumer law. Nothing here removes any statutory refund or cancellation rights.

RUKN uses third-party texts, translations, commentary, recordings and services. Those resources remain subject to their respective rights and licence terms. Access through RUKN does not transfer ownership or grant permission to redistribute material beyond what the relevant licence and applicable law allow.

External services, including prayer-time providers, maps and audio sources, can change or become unavailable. Their own terms and privacy practices may apply. Source attribution does not imply affiliation or endorsement.

Use the app and website lawfully. Do not interfere with their security or operation, misuse support channels, or infringe the rights of others. These conditions do not restrict activities permitted by mandatory law or applicable open-source licences.

You retain your rights in your own notes and reflections. Share only material you have the right to share, and take care not to expose private information about yourself or others.

We aim to maintain and improve RUKN, but uninterrupted service, compatibility with every device, and the permanent availability of every feature cannot be guaranteed. Maintenance, operating-system changes and external services may affect operation.

Keep copies of notes and other information you consider important using available sharing or backup tools. Device loss, app removal and changes to backup or sync settings can affect saved data. Our Privacy Policy explains data handling.

Where a change materially affects paid access, we will provide notice where required and respect applicable store rules and consumer remedies. These terms do not give us an unrestricted right to remove paid benefits without regard to those obligations.

The limitations described on this page explain the intended role of RUKN; they do not remove our obligations under applicable law. To the extent permitted by law, we do not promise that the app or its content will always be error-free, uninterrupted or suitable for every individual purpose.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Mandatory consumer guarantees and remedies remain available. These terms do not require you to give up access to courts or protections that apply where you live.

We may revise these terms to reflect changes in RUKN or applicable requirements. Material changes will be communicated as required by law, including obtaining consent where necessary. Changes do not retrospectively remove rights you already have.
